Bolus

Has anyone had a bolus used during their radiation treatment? I have read a lot of past posts and haven't seen it mentioned. The techs explanation wasn't very clear so will ask the doc next week but just thought someone here may be familiar with it? I started chemo and radiation yesterday and so far all is well!!

Bolus
The term bolus is apparently used when referring to both chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

Saw your post but didn't answer because I never heard of 'bolus'. I looked it up though - still not quite sure what it is...we've all had a few differences in treatment, maybe this is just another thing for us to learn about?
