My Mother has just been discharged from Hospital having experience a life threatening bleed during her Biopsy, here Gliobastoma cannot be operated on, and she is taking initially 12mg of Dexamethasone to be reduced by 1mg every two days until we find a sustainable level, she is given a median of 12 weeks, I am looking for advice and support in relation to alternative treatments that might assist, thank you.

Hey Artfinger
Its a tough situation you all have been dealt. This board pretty much deals with cancers of the head and neck exclusive of brain and spinal cord cancers. There is a specific board for brain cancer, where I have seen discussions of your mother's situation many times. You are more likely to get coherent thoughts on treatment alternatives from there. Just getting through process is an ordeal for any of these malignancies. If there's anything any of us can do to help, keep coming back.
Best regards
Pat
