change of plans

in Lymphoma (Hodgkin and Non-Hodgkin) #1
pic-line was placed today, and tomorrow I start rice, changed from what my onc first planned I don't care for new doctors I hope he knows what hes doing. Has anyone had rice if so how long does it take to get it and what are the side effects.

    I had ICE
    from what ive heard RICE is with an added chemo but not to sure . My treatment consisted of a 24-72 hr round of chemo with a pump that was sent to me . Had major headache, fatigue

    did you do the treatments at home or the hospital? I was told I had to be hospitalized

    Just wanted to wish you good luck tomorrow. I don't know anything about RICE...my chemo was CVP-R. When you get out of the hospital and feel up to it, let us know how your doing. Best wishes...Sue (FNHL-2-3a-6/10)

    I was treated for the first
    I was treated for the first 2 chemos as outpatient in the hemo/onc clinic for a few hours went home and then the long round i went home
