Had some good news, I think and hope

Hi, went to see my oncologist today, started my 2 week chemo break from Hexalen. He said that my abdominal area felt softer than it has in the past, so I'm taking that as good news. Maybe my CA 125 wasn't that off when my pcp took it in Jan. It had gone from 26 to 15 which I thought was odd, but maybe, this particular chemo is helping. It is used only for ovarian cancer, and it's very upsetting that I had told the oncologist in NYC over a year ago I wanted to try this (when the tumors were smaller), but he never listened to me and did what he wanted to do. I am so glad that I no longer go to this large cancer center. Anyway, I don't want to get my hopes up. I don't have any excruciating pain, sometimes a little cramping which my pcp said could be from a number of things. So, I'm back on the chemo pill this week.
