Hi, I too am helped with Pilocarpine and they are pricey. A friend who is a Physicians Assistant for an ENT here sent me a medical article on xerostoma. One suggestion was to use Pilocarpine eye drops, 5 drops by mouth and it is SOOOO Much cheaper! My doctor ordered it for me and I am Blessed! It costs me $4.00 a bottle on the forumlary here in the US. I hope this works for you. I use them 4-5 times in a 24 hr period. Can't leave home without it!

I am uncertain whether your issue is availability of it in Australia or not. I buy mine at WalMart.

    In Gratitude....

If that's the objection, these simple articles may overcome physician resistance. The third one is actually from Australia.
