I will be checking back in

Thanks so very much for all of your thoughtful messages! I just had to right down my thoughts of the past 2 weeks since he has been gone. Every day I say " I love you" don't know if he hears, but don't care. My sister just left, she spent a few hours with me. Was a nice quite visit. When she left she said "It's just you and the cat now" I said "yes" she sleeps on his side of the bed now. To everyone on the site I hope the very best to all!! I never, ever thought he would be gone so soon! All I do know is I was there for all he went through. When they said they wanted Hospice to come in he said no. So that was what he wanted.

    He Hears You....and always will
    He's with you......

I'm sure there are tons of things that you'll remember that you did together, you learned from him, moments and places that you shared and have special meanings and feeling only known by you.

Those are still there, they will always be there...he is still in and with you, and he always will be, and a piece of you is with him, and always will be.....

    Thoughts,
    John

Sue, my prayers are with you
I know there isn't anything anyone can say to heal the loss. Just know that you will always be connected with him in spirit. I pray you can be healed of this pain in time. You will never fully get over your loss, but you will heal. May God Bless and comfort you.

    So Sorry
    Sue:

I'm so sorry for your loss. I must have missed the post on that. I so know how you are feeling right now. When Charlie's cancer returned I had no idea he would go so quickly. It's been almost 1 1/2 year now and I still say, "Good Morning" Charlie (among other things). I like to think he hears me. And what John said is so true and these people are so wonderful on this site. I still check in regularly to keep up and intend to always be a part of this site. Don't know how much good or comfort I've been (hopefully so) but the good and comfort I've received is immeasurable. "Sammy" our dachshund sleeps on Charlie's side of the bed now. He likes to go to the end under the covers and snuggle up and he is a great foot warmer. Prayers are with you and if you want to talk and PM that is fine. Again, I'm so sorry I missed the post about his passing. God Bless!
