Has anyone one seen 2bhealed around?

Options
I have rin across quite a few of 2bhealed posted juicing related lists, but I would like to get some feedback from her on what protein powder to supplement the vegetable and fruit juice. Does anyone have any recommendations to supplements to add in to a juicing regiment?

Thanks

I don't think she is posting anymore. It might be wise to just send her a pm.

FYI: I did a search on "protein powder" with the quotes to narrow the search down. If you search on the words ith out the quotes, you get every post with the words protein and powder in them. That can give you too many results. Then I looked for Em's posts about juicing and gave these two examples. I'm sure you can find more. I hope this helps...

"Juicing veggies helps to keep your body alkaline which in turn helps to either heal your cancer or keep from returning. Remember though, there are never any guarantees for any of us. We just do our best.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to use ORGANIC produce. Not only is it free from toxic chemicals, but tests show that organic produce has a higher nutritional output than conventionally grown produce. It has something to do with the soil being depleted of nutrients and minerals when chemicals are used. So if you are going to expend this energy with juicing, then please buy ORGANIC.

    Here is my everyday recipe:

    3-4 carrots (depending on size)
1 granny smith apple (or whatever you prefer)
    1 stalk celery
    1 handful parsley
    2 kale leaves
1 small chunk ginger (beware of the zing)

    add:
2T flax seed (FIBER!!! helps with the glycemic load)
1 T Barleans Greens (or any green powder)
1 T fermented soy protein powder

Ok, I want to underscore how important GREENS are in this equation. It's the greens that really help in the alkalizing department. But, I warn you to start with small amounts and build up your tolerance. I happen to think that my juice is the Nectar of the Gods. My kids call it Swamp Water.

Using carrot and apples as the foundation you can experiment with beets, cabbage, garlic, cucumbers, lemons, spinach.

I've never tried this one but it sure sounds good:

    1 med orange, peeled
3 inch chunk fresh pineapple peeled if not organic
1/4 sm or med lemon, peeled if not org.
1-2 inch piece fresh ginger root

here's one called "The Colon Cleanser":

2 org Granny Smith, McIntosh, or Golden Delicious
    1 bunch spinach
    1 handful parsley
    1/4 sm or med lemon

The BEST lemonade is just apples and lemons. Your kids will love it!

Scouty has different recipes that she used.

I have never tried cabbage, but I know it was part of her protocol.

I chose the veggies specifically b/c of their digestive properties.....especially the parsley and ginger. Beets are good for liver cleanse but they really pack a punch!

I hope this helps to get you started.

"I bought 25# bags of ORGANIC carrots from my local coop (they should give you a bulk discount). With the carrots I juiced handfuls of spinach, parsley and a small chunk of ginger. All those veggies were chosen due to their high nutritional content for the digestive system. To that concoction I added a green powder (the one I finally found to be the best for me is called Perfect Food www.gardenoflifeusa.com) that is jam-packed full of nutrients and greens and enzymes and such. It helps in detoxing too. I also added a protein powder. I tried various kinds such as soy or rice or whey or goat. I still bounce around between them. (Just make sure there is NO added sugar or corn syrup or any kind of sweetener beside stevia--remember cancer feeds on sugar)."

    I remember her writing those
I remember her writing those words to me "I hope this helps you get started" when I asked what to do after treatment so I don't make the last year be for nothing. She and Scouty really gave me some motivation to make some changes. I feel like a kindergartner in the world of organics/health. I bought some organic veges for my juicer today. Only thing...it hasn't arrived yet! :) I guess I'm a little excited to get it.

What I know is it's not going to hurt, and might do some good that I may never know of. If you know what I mean.

ps-I read a very nice article on you that posted on facebook :)

    My juice recipe is as
My juice recipe is as follows:

    6 t0 8 carrots
    6 kale leaves w/stems
    1-tablespoon tumeric powder
    1-tablespoon dried ginger
    1-tablespoon dried dandelion root

Tumeric is very exciting to me. There is a lot of research being done including by MD Anderson and Johns Hopkins for fighting colon cancer. It is believed to interfere with some of the protiens that feed the cancer as well as cause cell apoptosis (Suicide). It is also believed to enhance the effect of 5FU.
