he can't seem to complete sentences, and he talks a little wild. I haven't been able to get
him to eat very much, have been making him protein shakes. He didn't want any of those yesterday or this morning. Was glad when the drs saw him and admitted him. Hoping they can give him fluids, and he will be more like himself. Then we will attack this new problem, whatever it is, together.

Is his appointment? Wondering how he is doing.

Hi Marie, He has steadily declined since being in the hospital. She is giving him
Vectibex but says there is only a 30% chance that it will slow the progression down.
He is in severe pain and always nauseas (sp), talks out of his head alot. She wanted
to admit him to a rehab center but I want him to come home. We are now
looking at hospice, as dr feels he only has a few months. I am in shock, I guess I
have been in la la land, but kept thinking we would continue to fight this. Such a
 cruel disease... Brenda

Like all the other folks, I've been hoping for something positive for you to hang on to...I'm truly saddened to hear that things are where they are at...this must be so difficult to comprehend.
It seems it has been one heartbreak and setback after another...wishing only the best, but understand fully what you are telling us this evening. Thank you for letting us all know.

 Of course this is
 Brenda,
Of course this is shocking. You haven't been living in la-la land, though. You are going through a process of dealing with trying to help your husband as much as humanly possible. You have been his eyes and ears searching for what could help.
You both are and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Brenda, my heart aches for you both, I'm so sorry about this news, I'm glad that hospice will be there for you both.
