Uterine Adenocarcinoma with Mets to Lungs
Hi,
I had a total hysterectomy, plus radiation and a diagnosis of uterine adenocarcinoma. 3 years later, 2 masses in left lung. The treatment was a lobectomy and wedge resection on the left lung, plus 3 carboplatin chemo treatments - allergic to Taxol. Now, one year later, a recurrence in the left lung. I'm probabaly looking at a pneumonectomy, as I am allergic to most chemo drugs used....
How are your Doxil and hormone therapy going? I may have two spots under surveillance on the right lung, too, and of course, am running out of lung tissue to remove!
I would appreciate hearing about your treatment and progress. Hope all is going well for you.
