Last year, a few friends created The Brant Walton Memorial Fund/Dream Hope Believe Foundation in honor of my husband. For those who are newer here, my husband died almost two years ago at the age of 34 from colorectal cancer.

The fund is now accepting grant applications to provide funds for children who have lost a parent to cancer. The recipients can apply for funds for whatever might be most useful to them (childcare help, tuition, extracurricular activities, camp, etc).

If you know of anyone that could use some extra help, please share this info. The website is dreamhopebelieve.org

    You are a beautiful woman. Reading this made me both cry and smile. I will pass this information on to some families that I know who have children who could use a boost.

    I am thinking of you and Will during the holidays. I know this is a hard time. I pray it is filled with joy too.
