We're off to Vegas tomorrow morning
We're both looking forward to a relaxing break. We'll be sitting in front of our favorite penny machines and seeing some shows. My suitcase is always a back breaker. No the kitchen sink isn't it it but just about everything else is. It's easy to tell mine.
To any new stage 4's I didn't expect him to be still here. We just plan to do things with our doctors blessings and do them. Life can turn on a dime and you might as well party while you can.
Christmas is up and all gifts are done for the grand kids and son and daughter in law and our son. At this point Tom and I dont' need much. I asked for and ordered watercolors I needed for my art class. Funny how things change.
I'll check in on everyone on my Droid..what would I do with a smart phone?

I used to travel out to Vegas with my parents too many years ago when I was small. So many changes since I was there last.
You will have to let us know what shows you see. Nick and I love live performances. Vegas is a goal for us. So many things there to choose from.....

I am so jealous! I love Vegas!! I love it so much, Lee and I actually got married there May 2010 in the Valley of Fire State Park. (absolutely stunning place to visit, if you've never been there)
We went last July, as a kind of late Happy Anniversary trip, and although Lee was feeling pretty rotten we stayed out of the heat, which was causing those dreaded hot and cold flashes, followed by vomiting, by going to as many shows we could cram in. i would highly recommend VEGAS, the musical. We upgraded to first row seats, and man, was it ever worth it!! I won't get into all the other shows we watched, but, have I mentioned that I love Vegas?? hehe This may sound crazy, but jumping "freefall"off the top of stratosphere tower was about the coolest thing ever. If your an adventure seeker, give it a shot!

Have a wonderful time. I love Vegas as well. We were just talking about how fun it would be to go again a few weeks ago (before we found out about) but Bill didn't think we could afford it. Definitely going to plan to go as soon as we can. Have a blast!

I've always loved Vegas and usually go a couple of times a year with a friend who teaches Kindergarten at my school. Greg was always hunting in the fall so for sure we'd go in Oct/Nov and then again in the spring. We haven't been there for a year and a half so I'm definately overdue and we're going next weekend Fri-Mon. The best show in Vegas (in my opinion, of course) is Jimmy Buffett. He's usually there in April and October and it's a blast! His fans are called Parrotheads and have so much fun before, during and after the actual concert.
Anyways I hope you have lots of fun and stay out of trouble. On second thought, go ahead and get into a little trouble, what the heck? What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? Actually, our saying is "What happens in Vegas, never happened"!

Enjoy Vegas! So glad you are going. My stepdaughter lives there and has for about 14 or 15 years. She just hated the Michigan winters and she loves it out there. I love it too. Like Chantal - I left plenty of $$ for you last time we were there. Actually we went to the Valley of Fire that Chantal talked about - it is so beautiful.
My husband and I both ride Harley's so we did a fly and ride and rented Harley's on the windiest day of year out there - steady winds at 70 mph and we got hit with the biggest tumbleweed I've ever seen - didn't hurt at all - but wow! what a ride. The valley is beautiful and if you get a chance to go through it - you won't be sorry.
I'm sure you are packing hand sanitizer for your purse for you and hubby - that is one item we use a lot out there.
Hit the big jackpot out there and make us all envious of you! Give us a shout when you get back.
