Hi, my husband was originally diagnosed with AML in 2006, he had 9 months in remission then it relapsed. In 2008 he received an unrelated double cord blood transplant. 3 years post transplant he was doing great, then abnormal counts caused for bm biopsy. Biopsy showed cancer cells. So here we are getting his second transplant. Unrelated donor cells, he is at day +31. He had a biopsy of the gut which shows he has graft vs. host disease of the gut. Which is now my concern, is there any survivors out there that had this and can you tell me what to expect. I'm very scared for him any information will help.
