Remember the lump in my daughter's cheek?

Im not sure if you guys remember last month when my daughter Kacie, she's 10 showed me the lump in her cheek? Well, a month and a half later, after the Doctor visit, lab test, face Xray which recommended a CT with IV contrast (her Pediatrician seemed to want to talk me out of) and then finally had the Cat Scan with IV contrast last Tuesday .....I called the office today for the CT results and the receptionist returned my call and said the Dr wanted to see me in her office tomorrow to go over the results. !....All I can think of is Oh. My. God. She always gives me results over the phone.

I could really use some good news to tell my little girl.

    It is scary anytime our children might have something wrong. I am praying it is no problem. I hope you can sleep tonight. I have you and Kacie in my prayers.

    I remember
    and feel so badly that I didn't ask you about any developments. So sorry for that. Prayers will be going out for you and Kacie. Hang in there until you talk to the doctor--as a mom I know you will worry, that's what we do best! Please let us know what you learn.

    I'm so sorry that this problem did not resolve itself and it took so long for the testing to be done. Please "breathe". I will be thinking of both of you tomorrow.

    We have had appts and the next is on Dec 6 with the Children's Hospital Oncology Department. Although I feel completely annoyed at this point because I now think it is something completely benign like a cyst (I hope). So many Dr, Dentist, lab, xray, CT.....and two months later....no change in the lump and no progress. I am annoyed. But we have an appt with the right place finally. I wouldn't want anyone else poking a needle in my little girls face but them. Thank you so much for remembering!
