Referred to as KG5, and developed at UC San Diego:

New Drug at UCSD

From a personal perspective, if/when they start trials, UCSD is relatively local to me.

Still, it is at least five years out from being generally available, and it may turn out to be like many of the promising drugs before it...

    Sounds exciting
    Another very interesting development. My poor bookmark list is so long with all of these types of things that it takes me forever to find what I want in there! I am going to have to look into organizing them somehow.

    So hoping that something comes along soon that is a major development and not just another short term bandaid.

    If you go into Google and type in
    CureFAKtor Pharmaceuticals

    you'll be looking for an item dated 11/14 about a new Focal Adhesion Kinase (FAK) Inhibitor (Y15)......the third trial in article pertains to CRC, using 5FU and Y15....

    Don't know any other way to get this article out.....
