Husband Diagnosed with CMML

I am new to this site. My husband was diagnosed at the end of September at the age of 47 with AML. He was in the hospital for a month and received chemo. His counts were terrific. He is currently out of the hospital and has since had another bone marrow test and the oncologist said that he had an underlying condition of CMML. We have been to Northwestern Memorial to meet with the head of stem cell transplant. He will begin chemo again next week to keep the CMML under control while waiting for a donor in the registry. The doctors are hoping that a match will be found and that the transplant can take place in January. I am not able to find a lot on line about CMML. Does anyone have any information you may be able to share? Also, any information on stell cell transplant? Any suggestions on helping kids deal with this? This is our 2nd marriage for both of us and together we have 3 children...24, 21 and 17. The 2 older children were from his 1st marriage and their mother passed away with a brain aneurysm many years ago. I'm trying to remain strong for my husband and kids, but I am finding myself breaking down at times.
