Just got an email from the oncologist about my MRIs:

Jerry- call me tomorrow in Moses Lake. The scans of the spine and brain do NOT show any metastases.

    I LOVE hearing good news!!! My husband is in post-op chemo and it is getting us a little down so I relish in any good news I hear. Yay for you, excellent news!

    Just visited my "second opinion" oncologist at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (associated with the University of Washington and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center).

    Dr. Edward Lin looked at all the information, the PET scans, the CT scans, the MRIs and said, "I don't see any outside involvement. We need an endoscopic ultrasound, but right now you look like a T3N0M0. After the ultrasound, we'll get you on chemo and get the tumor shrunk so that Dr. Oelschwager can operate."

    Whaaaaaat? Two weeks ago Dr. Turner said, "I'm sorry, all we can do is make you comfortable." ?????

    Always get a second and third opinion if necessary!!!
