hi everyone i have'nt really been posting much for a while but i am glad for everyones good reports, i have felt really have'nt felt well for a couple of months, i was worried where i am on watch and wait the cancer was getting worse i finally went to thr er and found it is pneumoni they kept me a couple of nights and gave me iv antibiotics and sent me home on leviqiun even tho i don't feel so hot i am so thankful its not the cancer blessings denise

    Whew !
    Pneumonia is no fun eiher especially if you
    have never had it. I used to get it about every 2-3 years but that has
    gotten better since I started getting pheumonia vaccines.

    Take good care of yourself and get plenty of rest.
    I hope you feel better soon, Denise.

    Try not to worry (easier said than done I know).

    Not the cancer...
    Hi Denise,
    So glad it wasn't anything to do with your cancer...not to say having pneumonia isn't serious, but at least it can be delt with and then go away. I also get the shot every year and so far..(knock on wood), I've never gotten it. I spent 3 days in the hospital about 5 years ago with a terrible bronchial infection, but never had it go into pneumonia. I've been gone for 3 days to my Aunts house out of state, so I fell behind in posting. I was wondering how everything was going with you. You be sure to rest and drink lots of fluids.

    I know pneumonia is nothing to sneeze at,but the meds today will get you thru it fine. Now you can relax knowing it is not the other. John

    no, this is most definitly not fun. I've had it several times now, but havn't had in a while. it was time for my vaccine i just did'nt make it in time i know it has never caused the pain that it did this time and the pain medicine they put in my iv stung really bad but i had my vaccine and hope i never get it back it was really bad this time.. thank you for caring.i wish i had what the two of you have i always seen the glass half empty. love and blessings denise

    its always nice to know they are people out there that understand and care and i know you are there. i almost lost my oldest son friday he came home from jail after 6 months and he was clean and got mad because his wife would'nt stop using herion and gave himself a big enough shot to stop his heart stop they gave him one of those shots in his heart and it started i back he was in a coma all night the next mornlng he checked out against medical advice it makes it hard not to have stress. if you pray pray for him, his name is robert. blessings denise

    Hi Denise,
    I'm really sorry to hear about your son, all you can do is love him and pray, but you have to take care of yourself for you and your other (child?)children. He is making his own decisions and choosing his way as painful as it is. Heroin is an evil demon and when someone is in it's grip it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from. I pray that he realizes soon it's beyond his control and he gets the help he needs. Have you thought about a support group for yourself? You need all the help you can get right now, and of course you can always come here, but this is something a professional should be helping you with. I will pray for you and Robert.
