Michael has passed away
I refer to each and every one as my friends, who have helped me along the journey, however yesterday morning my Michael, my Angel was called back to heaven.. as I am writing this, I feel he making his way to where he needs to be, it was time his heart stopped he had enough and was tired, although we thought we would have more time, that was not to be.
He was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in the small bowels in May of 2011,he had 5 chemo treatments then went down hill from there he could not eat he was getting hydration and he would get worst with every hydration treatment he had two... then at 4:15am on October 5th he ask me to call 911, while he was being transported his heart stop,
and he was gone.. I know he is happy I know he had to leave me, he was tired, he fought so hard and when through so much my brave angel.. and in the next few days I have to say good by to my angel for the last time... and it is going to be so very very hard, but he is at peace, he was only 50 years old too young. Please send your thoughts to my Michael so he has a pleasent journey to the place he needs to be.
thank you my friends

My most pleasant thoughts are with Michael on to his new journey. My tears are for you, the one left behind, you are both too young to be going separate ways in this form already.
From your words, I can see you are such the brave soul. In your darkest moments of sorrow, as you remember the love you two shared, may that cheer up your thoughts. May you feel him beside you as you start this lonely walk.
My thoughts are with you, I'm so sorry.

To find out in May, and then
To find out in May, and then have him pass over 5 months later is shocking. Can only imagine how much your head and heart are reeling.
He was loved by you. That is crystal clear from your post.
Take what solace you can from your family and friends, incl those here on this Board.
With great sympathy,
Your friend in California -

Hi Geri
I did not get the opportunity to get to know you and your husband's story. I am truly sorry for that. I've been posting some and working on my cancer book quite a bit, so sometimes I don't catch everything like I used to.
I am very sorry for your loss and sorry that this happened to your partner. He knew something was wrong but time got away from him. It's heartbreaking to hear your story. I know the days ahead will be more than challenging as you try and step through the challenges before you.
I just wanted to offer you my sincerest condolences and for comfort and strength for the coming days as you do the things that you must do.
Michael already knows the answer to what is the biggest question that awaits all of us, "Where do we go after here."
I hope at some point, he will be able to tell you this and that all is well. I wish you nothing but the best for your future - the times are dark now, but eventually the shadows will fade and light will once more shine through.
It will never take away the pain you feel or bring Michael back, but you will find some kind of meaning to get you to the next day. I wish I knew of something more comforting to say.
I'm just deeply sorry for your loss.

This journey is so scary but
This journey is so scary but so much easier when you have each other to lean on. You are now living my biggest fear which is losing that single person who always makes it better. I wish you strength during the days ahead and maybe even laughter as you remember the good times you shared. Lisa -
