I do not have any of these symptoms -- However,
my suggestion -- please find a 'Breast Cancer Specialist' -- in your area, make an appointment -- and have him/her test you. Piece of mind is needed.
Be your own health advocate ---. Once everything is evalated, tested with your Breast Cancer Specialist .. Maybe you can see your OBYN -- and see if he/she has suggestions for helping you thru menopause.
Just my humble opinion.

My left nipple became inverted and I had skin dimpling. I was diagnosed with IDC stage 2B. Please, please, please call one of your doctors. I never experienced the blue nipple though...
My tumor was mapped real good with the ultrasound but the 3D image of an MRI scan was the best method to make sure there weren't any other tumors.
Please don't wait on this... Call

I would seek advice quickly and would certainly get an MRI, which is the best way to go for some cancers that dont show up on mamo/scan. Menopause can be horrible. I take Cymbalta which is getting me through the change better than any other antidepressant, it is annoying trying to find the right one. My mum had cancer on and beyond the nipple area. I had dimpling also, hard to know the difference between that and stretch marks sometimes, so a professional is best to give you peace of mind. Good luck to you.0 -

by a breast specialist. Nipple inversion can be a sign of something going on underneath the nipple. Nipple inversion was one of my symptoms along with pink and warm area on the breast; I was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) in Dec 2010.

thank you guys so much for answering and caring. but i think i was misunderstood about the mri ... i had one and it was clean but they cant answer what is going on with me and they just say they will watch it and see. so mabe everything is ok but i sure wish the inverted nipple and the weird look of my breast would go away. my onco sent me to the surgeon to biospy but of course he wasnt sure where to cut and that was the reason for the mri. so we just wait. my onco said he even felt something that was not right. i always get a different response from everyone who touches me. very confusing and a little depressing. but again i am probably just paranoid and i do appreciate all the suggestions and the caring on this site. thanks guys.0 -

I suggest if you are not happy with your Dr's diagnoses get another opinion. nobody knows you better then you. Is there an cancer center by you. I had IBC and there was no lump to feel my breast got hard, red , swollen and very tender to the touch. I also had dippling and the nipple was inverted. The first Dr I went to miss diagnosed me. I then went to Moffitt. And they diagnosed me correctly. that was a year and a half ago. Please don't just take what they say get another opinion. A breast cancer specialist is a really good idea! We do have to be our own advocate. My radiologist missed mine for 9 months - now I have a very big tumor behind the scar of an old one. I knew better in my heart of hearts but I wanted to believe her. Please, Please find a breast specialist now! I will keep you in my prayers.

Pat, please please do not wait. Ask your oncologist to do a skin biopsy...the skin biopsy will confirm or rule out inflammatory breast cancer. I am strongly urging this because the symptoms you mention are a very close match for IBC. IBC is frequently misdiagnosed because it often has no lump. It is also a rare form of bc, and sadly many docs are not familiar with it.

As others who are urging you to find a breast cancer specialist, I too am urging you. Please get a second opinion and find out what's going on. My mammo didn't show anything different but my nipple inverted which I knew could be a sign of bc. After a couple of weeks I found a specialist, had ultrasounds, digital mammo, then biopsies. Dxed with invasive ductal carcinoma, 3 tumors, Stage 3A. With your history I would want to know for sure. Sounds like you did have all the tests but someone new may look at it all differently. Hoping and praying it's just a weird thing and will go away on its own. Keep posting and let us know how it's going.0 -

I do not want to scary you, but my MRI was clean, while ultrasound showed a mass. Weird things could happened, that is why multiple test methods should be used. Good Breast surgeon will give you a piece of mind.0 -
Breast Cancer Can Return 30+ Years later
Mammogram are just a tool to find mostly ductal carcinoma which is a lump. Lobular doesn't often show up on mammograms because it is mostly in sheets. There is also something called Breast Cancer Paget's disease of the nipple.
There is no time limit for breast cancer, you can recur many years later up to 30+. Five years doesn't apply with breast cancer at all.
Ask for a ct/pet scan. You might not have anything, but don't wait until it morphs into stage IV.
See someone right away.
