Bone Marrow Transplants and low immunity

Have long term survivors especially had issues with reduced immunity and if so what were your symptoms? Just wondering.

Thanks.

    Hey Win
I have been wondering where you were too. lol. What have you been doing? I have been here on and off but I haven't seen your posts.

Well I am as okay as a 25 year survivor can be I guess. lol. For some odd reason the Fall is always a precursor to a ton of medical issues for me, it's been that way since my first diagnosis 25 years ago, in the Fall. Very strange. Anywho this Fall is no different. I have had to be followed by a gyne/onc for a cyst on my ovary for over a year now, gee maybe going on 2 and just in the last ultrasound all of a sudden it's back (was gone for awhile) and there are more cysts in the uterus so I think I am heading for a total hysterectormy. Oh joy. Also at the same time I have had worsening nerve damage issues and my lower back issues are getting much worse so not sure how much longer I will be able to avoid a wheelchair. Even the morphine I take daily isn't doing it anymore. On top of that I need a bronchioscopy and at the other end a colonoscopy next month due to symptoms so it's like I am falling apart from one end to the other. My confusion and memory issues are worse so they are looking into that too. You know how it is though eh? Up, down, up, down.

My daughter and son have been acting up too so it's just one of those times when it gets overwhelming. This too shall pass, right?

    How have you been doing?

    Hugs,
