    You have support here. We were all new and scared. A lot of us were diagnosed earlier this year. The women on the here are some of the most supportive and informed. If you have questions post them.

    There are no stupid questions. Lol, and as you can see constipation is always a topic we are happy to talk about.

    I'm a 5 1/2 year survivor, diagnosed 2006, I don't know what I would do without the wonderful, loving and caring family of teal warriors that are here waiting to help on this site. We're here to help.

    Not the greatest way to meet, but you'll find many new friends here, lots of support, wisdom, and HOPE! I'm an 11-year survivor (dx in 2000), and there are many other encouraging testimonies. Often, fear comes from the unknown. We may not have all the answers, but certainly we can help to ease some of your fears and make this journey a little easier. Fill us in on the details of your situation if you're comfortable, Steph. Till then, sending prayers and hugs to you.

    Welcome to the club no one wants to join, Steph. You will find more than just support here. You will find sisters. Unconditional acceptance. And total understanding.

    You can click on our photos and read our stories. This month is my 2 year anniversary since diagnosis. I did 18 consecutive months of chemo and am now in a clinical trial for a vaccine. So far, I have no evidence of disease and I was staged IIIc with a CA125 of 4000, so try not to think the worst.

    You have found the right place for support. I've been on here for about 4 months now. I had my surgery May 18 and have had 4 rounds of carbo/taxol/avaistan. Sorry we had to meet this way, but I'm happy that you found this group. I have found the ladies on here to be wonderful!!

    When I found this board, I cried like a baby because I knew these women knew exactly what I was going through. This month marks a year since my last chemo. I am feeling strong and healthy. I was diagnosed Stage IIIc on 3/16/2010, my first CA 125 was 6900. My last two results have been 3. I am so thankful and happy.

    Hi Steph,

    Sorry we have to meet like this. We are all scared since we don't know what the future will bring but no one ever does. I was diagnosed last year, had a colostomy put in as the cancer damaged my colon, had chemo then surgery in Jan. 2011. I am still going through chemo but i am feeling good. The women on this board are wonderful, smart and funny. They have been a great source of support and inspiration. Don't be afraid to share your story, we all understand what you are going through and sometimes it helps to talk about it.

    Welcome, Steph. Sorry you're having to go through this but I'm glad you chose to seek out others who have "been there, done that". I was diagnosed as Stage IIIB March 2010 and I started "lurking" around in here last year but never started participating until just recently. I wished I had joined in last year as I know it would have been very helpful. I have a lot of friends and family that try their best to be supportive but it is so nice to come in here with others who really get what you're going through. I think what actually got me to start participating now is that because I'm not doing chemo right now and my hair is coming back so my friends and family seem to think everything is back to normal now. Normal?? :-)

    I hope you will continue to come here and visit and let us know how you're doing. It really is helpful when you go through something and find out others stories of when they went through the same thing. It kind of helps it not seem so big and scary.

    Do we ever really go back to normal. I feel just being told I have cancer has changed my life I will never be the same person I was before June 4th. How can we ever be the same we have found out who are true friends are how tuff we are and found a world of support just in this site. Steph you will make it through this it is hard and some days I just want t give up but this site helps me so much so please reach out to the sisters on this site let them hold you up when You can't hold yourself up.

    I was diagnosed 2 years ago in Nov. My Ca 125 was almost 5000 it is now 9. These ladies will be here for you and will cheer you on as you tackle your next hurdle.

    we can answer any question you have. Yes it is very scary when you have cancer,,hope and new norm will be in your vocabulary. Have you had surgery and chemo yet. Please write back sowe can help...Val

    You have lots of support because there are many different women here. The word cancer is the scariest due to the unknown, but you have a support group right here to help you thru it. Also many family members join to help them with the process of going thru cancer. We are all scared but together we are strong.

    Please continue to keep in touch with us and let us know your situation. I was diagnosed in May of 2010, had surgery and six sessions of chemo. I am currently in remission and feeling great!

    I just joined a couple of days ago after surgery last Monday to remove a 9cm ovarian mass. As of today, the path reports aren't in so I heard "You have cancer in your pelvis and belly. I'll call you when I know more." This place is the ONLY place I know of to go to to hand onto my sanity. You will find the same. Women at every step of the process, some years and years beyond it and so healthy, and lots and lots of encouragement, hope and positive attitude. These ladies are my new best friends.

    Dear Sharon

    Welcome to the group that no one wants to be in.

    Just wondering if you have news of your pathology report. I am also curious as to how your ovarian mass was discovered. I felt mine myself after having some wierd bladder symptoms.
