in the process of adjuvant imrt therapy for the prostate bed. So whats the story.Does radiation wipe out the little meanies or Iam I doomed. I hate the PSA waiting game. Getting more relaxed while under the "arm" I discovered after all this time I could hike up my pants after"it" returns to neutral so to speak. I still have a little modesty |

I am glad to know you started IMRT. The radiation is “killing” the little “meanies” but the ones missed by the rays could recur later. The PSA after treatment will tell you if any have “escaped”.
Your status before starting RT can be predictive of success, but you haven’t shared any info on your case in your previous thread (http://csn.cancer.org/node/221784).
What was the PSA before starting RT?
How many sections of IMRT are you going to have?
Wishing you the best.
