Anyone have experience or knowledge of Protocel treatment?

Anyone have experience or know of anyone who has been on the Protocel treatment? I am pretty much on my last chemo option and haven't qualified for any clinical trials, so I am always on the lookout for alternative treatments. I would have to pay cash, as insurance doesn't cover alternative things like this.
Please don't reply if your view is just to talk down alternative treatments- I want some real info from anyone who has had real experience with it.
I know a woman who lives near me who has been on the treatment for her stage IV lung cancer. She was told by her onc no more treatments left for her & instead of looking into clinical trials, she went this route. She doesn't have a scan for another month, so she does not yet know if it's helping her. I will be anxious to hear her results but, of course, she has a different kind of cancer than I do and everyone's body responds differently to various treatments.

I just don't want to rule everything else out just because it's "alternative", but I do want to know what I'd be getting into should I ever decide to go that route. Taking Paw Paw is something some people also take while on Protocel. I've read the website info and testimonials, but I know that there are probably people that took it that it did not work for- they of course, don't put that info on their website. They do say they have a good success rate (which I don't know those numbers), but that everyone is different, so no guarantees. I like the fact that they say that, as I am always leery of anyone who claims to have "the cure".

    I admire your fortitude and you tenacity. There is nothing wrong with alternatives. Until there is a bonified cure, alternatives have a potential to help.

    I have wondered though if you had looked into Cancer Treatment Centers of America. I know that is another area where there are pros and cons, but some have good long term results. Just a thought.

    I have been using Protocel plus Paw Paw Cell Reg for a breast cancer diagnosis. The tumor is not any bigger and seems smaller since taking both. Protocel 50 applied topically also transformed a 'melanoma' looking growth into mere scar tissue (verified by biopsy). The was a secondary problem that developed after a PET SCAN.

    I have been considering discontinuing Protocel and continuing with Paw Paw, curcumin w/bioperine and other supplements. I do not see very many current testimonials that Protocel is actually working for people and maybe I am just being impatient. Non-aggressive tumors take longer the aggressive tumors to shrink according to literature.

    Paw Paw has research showing effectiveness for chemo-resistant tumors. This may be helpful for you.

    I think the biggest part of any protocol is eliminating sugar. Sometimes I fall off the wagon with sugar but this is crucial.

    Hi Thanks for replying (in threefold, lol)- I posted this back in August, but it's still interesting to read what you wrote. I guess I kind of gave up on looking more into Protocel, because I met someone in Sept who was on Protocel & her tumors grew so she stopped taking it.

    I have heard about the benefits of Pawpaw- had forgotten about it- will look into it again. I know how cutting out sugar is so important and I'm trying hard. It's hard w/ temptations all around, but I'm doing pretty well w/ it. Have given in a few times, but I have far, far less than I used to. I'm praying for more willpower in that area!

    Major parts of Protocel look like synthetic, low molecular weight versions of some of my wife's many treatment components. We like to "naturally" address as many molecular targets and paths as look like will not interfere with each other, to slow, stop or shrink small masses, along with limited conventional meds (cimetidine, UFT/5FU only).

    "Tetrahydroxyquinone, rhodizonic acid and triquinolyl are classified as hydroxyquinone ingredients" that may roughly correspond to some quinones that have varied amounts of cancer test data, from mitomycin to menaquinone-4 (a human type vitamin K2) as well as coQ10 and Avemar. Catechols are polyphenols, perhaps smaller synthetic relatives of green tea polyphenols, catechins. We use cobalt in higher dose methyl cobalamin (active B12) instead of copper for a catalytic metal with endogenous cellular peroxide.

    Actual test data on my wife's tumor cells (she was loaded pre-op with cimetidine, vit D3, coQ10, lipoic, silymarin, B12, green tea EGCG, among others) showed ascorbate (C) plus menaquinone-4 (K2) plus low dose 5FU inhibited her cancer cells better than any chemo combo of gemcitabine, 5FU, irinotecan and oxaliplatin. The lab was shocked silent (literally) for two extra weeks on the vitamin C-K2 (+low 5FU) results.

    hawian spiriluna has some k2 in it, thats what i have started on.
    goodluck with the vegan, its so easy for me, my kids and wife are also having a few vegan meals.

    this was mentioned on ian gawler retreat, i met some who were on it,
    its supplied out of new zealand and i have togo a doctor who prescibes, it.
    only one in sydney and one in melbourne.

    goodluck with whatever you try. read a few pages on the book of spontaneous remissions.
