Hi, I was just sswitched from tamoxifin to aromasin for 5 years. Has anyone else been on aromasin and what were your side affects?

    Hi,
    I was on the drug and has severe bone pain in my left shoulder area as well as my knees. I hope don't experience this type of pain, some days I could barely walk.

    Hi, I'm on Aromasin now,the worst side effect I am having is trouble sleeping.
    I get around 3-4 hours a night, but I also have some joint pain..
    I went on this after Arimidex and Femara..Do not want to go on Tamoxifin...

    Aromasin here
    I was just switched from Tamoxifen to Aromasin after having an oophorectomy. I started it on July 21st so 4 wks. about. I have had some joint pain, mostly my knees and ankles. I have had a little in my hips but not bad. I have just taken advil and have done pretty good with it. I have had a few hot flashes that were a little worse than what I was having already. So far I think it is going well with it. God Bless
