I know some of the chemo
I know some of the chemo drugs can effect the heart. My dosage was TAC and the Adriamycin (now called doxorubicin)can be hard on the heart. I had to have a muga scan done first to get a 3D image of my heart before I started treatment. So I wouldn't be surprised if chemo was the culprit.

    I, too, had ACT.....
Adriamycin is known for being hard on your heart. I had issues with irregular heartbeat, etc, so badly that we skipped the last Adriamycin/Cytoxin infusion. BUT this was also after Carboplatin (also known for heart troubles) for the rectal cancer 6 months earlier.

The good news? About a year ago (4 years post treatment) I was checked out by a cardiologist. He gave my heart an A. He said there was still some 'funny beats' occasionally, but, overall, my heart was back to healthy!
