So sad to report that my 19 year old daughter passed away three weeks ago of AA3, two years and 5 months from diagnosis. She had two brain surgeries, radiation, temador, CCNU and finally avastin and irtitican IV chemo. She also had a cyst grow after her first surgery in the cavity of her tumor. She fought the cancer and I admire her for her fight. These last three months were the toughest in my life and hers. She had her tumor in her brain stem. God bless you all who are fighting.....

    My condolences
Very sorry for your loss. Lost my husband to GBM a year ago and yes the last few months were extremely difficult. Her fight is over and she is now at peace. Such a horrible disease.

I am so sorry to hear this.
I am so sorry to hear this. I cannot imagine your pain as a parent.

My husband who had three AAs now has GBM, which has spread all over. I've lost him cognitively in just a few short weeks. Physically, he can no longer walk without assistance. It has been heart-wrenching. It's been very tough on me and our families, but we cherish each day. This is a battle I never could have imagined, and our loved ones are such champions.

Peace to you in the days ahead.
