Don't really want to but can't wait any longer for SS diability to make a decision and husband refuses to work. He wants to just draw his SS check. Problem is he spends more than we have coming in.

I hope my brain will work so that I can hold on to the job. I have downgraded to HR Specialist. Not the money I am use to making but should be a lot less stressful.

There's a lot to be said for
There's a lot to be said for less stress, so for me the downgrade would be worth the reduced pay. Sorry SS disability took so long.

    Anything that
reduces your stress level is good. I had to give up a manager position when the beast attacked. The stress of the job and the stress of the battle were just too much. Now I do quality control and leave the stress behind. For me the money wasn't worth it.

Good that it is less stress
Sorry you have to go back, that SS is taking so long and that you aren't getting any support at home.

You can do it,our positive thoughts are with you,

    Hmmmmm
You may find that working is good for your mental health, if your physical health can tolerate it, especially given the events of the last couple of weeks. It just seems unfair that one person in a marriage has to work and the other doesn't. Does your job have a pension plan? If so, when will you be eligible?

Good luck. I hope that returning to work is rewarding and not a burden.
