Hi ladies...finally a little good news in my neck of things. Me and my therapist were dancing in her office last week cuz with a little pain and discomfort we finally got my arm raised above my head....WOOOO HOOOO! Before long i might be normal again...lol! (normal, what is that?) Its funny how being able to just reach up into the cubbard and get a glass down is a celebration!
Then my onco finally put me back on the hormone treatment pills again...now im on Anastrozole...i dont like it, it makes my belly hurt...yes im a big baby...lol!
My plastic surgeon is scheduling me for surgery again sometime real soon. They have to take out my left implant and redo it cuz it fell and its now causing me pain...but after this surgery im done ... i refuse to have any more... im tired of looking like frankenstien. All my scars need to heal and i need to get on with my life and being me again. Life is rough but im tough and it might of brought me down from time to time but im tired of being down and got my second wind and im coming back up swinging...so watch out!
I just miss me!!!!

    so glad to hear from you. Sorry about needing more surgery for fallen boob. Glad to hear you were able to raise your arm. I know how important that is. After breaking both shoulders I'll never forget when I was able to raise my rt arm. It's not straight but above the head is good.

    I am on Anastrozole (generic for Arimidex) too. I think it might be affecting my arthritis but so far doable. The worse for me is the hot flashes!

    and I know what you mean about missing the ol' pre-cancer body. I guess its about trying to live life the best way we can so you have the right idea. I'll be praying for you and a successful surgery.
