in Ovarian Cancer #1
I read one of your responses and your bio. I am so glad that you are in some type of remission. My diagnosis was almost the same as you, except I was 2A and didn't have it spread to the breast. I also was on Carbo/Taxo the 1st time and 2nd time. Unfortunately mine came back again in 2008. I tried carbo/gemzar, but became allergic to the carbo and could only do the gemzar, but I guess it wasn't enough to kill off all the tumors, so I'm still trying different chemos.

I hope you continue getting better and continue to get good results with your scans.

    Hello my dear teal sister! I hope some of this chemo will work for you. We not have another options to survive. We have to try every thing and fihgt hard! Dear Antcat! I was diagnosed with two cancers all most at same time. Patology report did say it is two different primary cancers, becase they react differently on theres tests. So I did not had distance metastases, and ovarian cancer was stage 2C, breast - stage 1. Can you tell me what kind chemo you on now and how you filing? What numbers with your CA125? My CA125 in January was 300ds, April - 50, May - 55, June - 59. So I am not very happy with this.:(! (((HUGS))), Zina.

    I'm going to be starting Taxotere on Friday. Funny thing is my CA 125 has always been low. As of 5/5, it was 7. I don't think the CA 125 is a good tumor marker. But what can you do. I am hoping this chemo will work, but you get to a point where you just don't know anymore.
