I just have to say that you people on here are just amazing. The depth of your knowledge has me flabergasted.
I was so sick after my surgery and then starting chemo I didnt research a thing, and I am a nurse. I just went with the flow
If I could bring you all together in a bunch you could probably find a cure
Well done, what an intelligent site here

    I haven't been for a while, but these people are THE BEST!!

    I'm a nurse too and I never did study much oncology in nursing school. Was kinda forced into it when I got cancer. Hahaha These are the people that got me through surgeries and recoveries and chemo!! There is a special place in heaven for everyone of them. :)

    Just finished Folfox and I can see this site would have been helpful. Now trying to put together a Surveillance Plan which includes, blood tests and chemo port flushes, diet, exercise, scans every three months, and keeping a positive attitude and living a wonderful life each day. This site is a wonderful way to research topics and get opinions on the latest research. Hope I can relax my way to feeling like the body scans and blood tests are my continued gateway to live a full life.

    i found this site just when i needed it
    i was starting folfox.
    being on folfox is sure an icebreaker, we had 5 or 6 going through at the same time.
    so many issues to deal with on crc journey, this board is only as special as the goodwill behind it, and that is vast.

    These folks are GREAT!

    I found this board after I had been through most all my surgeries and chemo, but find it nice to be able to pitch in here and there with help and humor. Guess there's still emotional wounds that need healin' and this is a great place to help with that :D
