Transitional Cell Carcinoma

Just wondering how many of you had Transitional Cell Carcinoma rather than Renal Cell Carcinoma. I had TCC and my kidney, ureter, etc were removed 8 weeks ago. It's been a rough time getting my energy back and not being so fatigued. Typically TCC affects men, smokers or those who've worked in the chemical industry. I have never smoked in my life, and none of the rest applies for that matter. My TCC was caught when I was having an ultrasound of my liver because my liver enzymes were going up, something totally unrelated to the cancer. I was caught off guard and in shock. The ultrasound was on a Friday, I saw a Urologist on Monday, had a biopsy and stint on Tuesday and removal surgery on Friday. It was one hell of a week. They removed 9 very bad looking lymph nodes and lucky for me they were not cancerous, so no chemo.

I'm just wondering if you've had TCC, how your recovery went and how you are doing. My cancer had started invading the wall of the kidney so I'm very concerned about my bladder at this poing and will have the first check on it July 1st.
