Hello, this is my first log in. I was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer with mets in liver and lungs in Dec 2009. Went through multiple surgeries and chemo. Two days ago got my CT report stating that thoracic node increased slightly in size (by couple of millimeters). My CEA is at 2.1. I just finished chemo, with plans to monitor by another scan in 3 months. Anyone had similar experience? Are there any treatment(s) options, except chemo?

Thanks.

Mine In the retroperitoneal area was successfully treated with,
radio and chemo, but standard chemo may be also a good solution, difficult to operate but look at this, is not a vital organ so the question is to maintain them under control, and try to smash it with Chemo or radio!.
    Good luck!

I have no knowledge in that area but only to say that the CEA is at a great level...Hopefully its maybe an infection but just the same keep in touch with us and keep us informed on how you are and what type of treatment regimen they come up with...Love and Hope for us all, buzz
