I just wanted to thank Idlehunters and Gracie2010 for "friending me". I am in hiding until monday. I go to the surgeon then to find out what he plans on doing. ct scan showed lesion on liver,"raising concern for metastic disease'. My onc did not explain the scan to me. So I wait. we all know what that is like. I thought scans showed cancer? am i wrong about that?

    Hello again
I have been reading all your posts, and think, what an incredible group of people i have found. Finally, people who understand. I have started a new career at age 65 and I think its more than i can handle right now. My Real Estate career is going to be short lived and i am feeling guilty. They want total commitment and are being "kind" at this point. My manager is at a loss for how to deal with me. I am at a loss on how to deal with me! So I just get on here and read. I have been lucky that everything was found early. I hate that it may start all over again and I guess I am realizing that this may be how i live the rest of my life,. OK I am done whining--for now ; )
I have 12 grandchildren and of course they are amazing. I am a beach person and am more suprised i don't have skin cancer. Just got a clean bill of health from that dr. So its back to the beach for more sun. I have 2 bichons, one is a 14 year old cranky old man (Casey). The other is a 7 month old bouncy female (Carly). I would have never adopted her had i known that i was going to go through this again. That is how sure i was that it was gone.
But,she makes me laugh, she makes Casey crazy, & my husband just looks at the 3 of us like we are all nuts. He is probably right!!

Your new "baby" will add so much joy to your life. It has you laughing already! Can't remember who, but a famous comedian said "Laughter is the best medicine". I have been wanting to get a new dog for a long time(Siberian Husky), but couldn't afford to feed one, so I'm afraid it would probably eat my poor old cat,LOL.

Welcome to the group, and best of luck.

    Luv,

A great big thank you to all
Jennie, right back atcha girlfriend! I feel better already.
Wolfen, there are so many dogs that need a forever home, think about rescuing one. So much joy, so much love, so much work!!!! The cat will show him who is boss, don't worry about that.
If you all get a chance, read my blog. hopefully you might get a chuckle.
In the meantime, I have talked to several people and they agree with me that the dr. handled "the news" very poorly. He should have had me in to explain the report, and what would happen going forward. So, I think I am going to get another dr. I go to Moffett Cancer Center and was formerly treated at the university of Penna.
I kinda inherited this dr when we relocated. I need someone who will take the time to answer questions, a bit of sensitivity wouldn't hurt either. So there, I am sticking up for myself. woohoo.
To all of my new family, I am feeling the love! hugs to all.
