Well hubby took me to my appt. today and with the exception of the fact I feel gross it all went well. It seems somewhere along the way I got bronchitis so I am coughing up a storm (no fun with stitches) and running light fevers. Doc put me on a z pack which should do the trick, the stuff I was on just was not quashing it. The re-reconstructed breast looks much better to me, it is more solid and seems to like to stay put YIPPEE!! I still cannot see what the new nip looks like or how the skin graft is doing because that area is totally covered in cotton. It is healing well though as is the area the donor skin was grafted from so all is good. Now off to sleep, will catch up more with you all later. Wish you all the best.

    Wonderful that your surgery went well, oh poop that you caught bronchitis. Z-pacs are pretty powerful so I hope that knocks it out of you. Glad you're resting as well.

    And rest easy...hope you're feeling better soon!...here 's on old wives tale that works for me and my family...some Vick's Vapor Rub rubbed on the soles of your feet covered with socks at bedtime can help with the coughing....
