My Valentine Gift "NED"

Received the info yesterday from my follow up mammo done Last Tuesday 2/8/11. It said the area of concern is NOT cancer. So as many of you told me last August it is scar tissue. I've been waiting since last August to say it "NED". I'm both happy and tearful, but these tears are tears of joy.
That info could have arrived any day of the week, but it was a valentine love gift to me. Thanks for listening and wishing this good news for each of my valued and loved pink sisters on these boards. Natly 15

IS NED just saying in certain parts of country etc..until this site I have never heard of it..I have never been told in remission etc...all I am told is all tests came back GOOD!

wait, but so worth it. You will find that you often sleep, deeper and a bit later. You will find yourself making plans for dinner with friends, or a mini vacation == all without giving a second thought to breast cancer. Which, I now refer to as, getting back to 'our' new normal.
NED is a fantastic dancer, kept me up and dancing the night away! While I am tired, and ready for a 2 day nap .. NED is dusting himself off, and if I am correct, he is on his way to your home. Get Ready ... and dance the night away! Congratulations - Job Well Done, my fellow Sister in PINK!

This is fantastic. Don't you just love "scar tissue". After my week last week, I do! Enjoy your dance with NED, you definitely deserve it. I have tears of joys in my eyes along with you.
This is so wonderful. I've been away for just 2 days of traveling and come back here to all this wonderful news. I LOVE IT and love you!
