question for my colon peeps

hello csn family, 2 years ago i was hit with stage 4 colon cancer, had a colon resection, and 12 rounds of chemo and than maint... got bad scans this month, and low and behold another mass in my colon has reared its ugly head, has anyone had 2 of these surgeries?? was told it could be an option but a meeting with other dr will confirm if this is the way to go, i am looking at cyber knife and other things...any input from you guys is soooo welcome....thank you guys!!!!     Tommy, haven't had colon surgery only rectal but one would think
    that if there was enough colon left from first surgery that this would be the optimal route to take and most likely the less severe one with the easiest recoup time involved...Only my opinion though but I hope all decisions whatever they may be bode well with you in your journey...We will be right along side.........Buzz

    Is there any reason you prefer not to have straight surgery,
    and are willing to opt for chemo and radiation instead?

    Getting that cancer physically out, usually has best results.
