Hi All,
Just want to send my love and support to all.
I am now sitting in my quiet and clean home. Our youngest daughter(28) moved into her apt. and hubby gave me the gift of housecleaners. The cleaners just left and the only noise is Lola barking for me to give her some attention..
The sun is peeking through overcast skies, and the weather is mild. I hope this trend continues.
I am hoping for a better new year ahead, for all of us!
Peaceful healing
Lisha

    Great
    Hi Lisha
What a great gift. My cats don't bark but they sure get my attention when I get up in the middle of the night and two are on my pillow and one is where my feet need to be. Have a great new year where the word REMISSION is spoken often!! God Bless you

    Ahhhh!
    Hi Lisha,
"Quiet and clean" is good! I've thought about you every day over the holidays and prayed both your mom and Delores were doing ok and hoping you were finding some peaceful time for yourself. Thats so nice of your hubby to call in housecleaners...lucky duck! Tomorrow I plan to get all of the Christmas decorations put away and do a little cleaning. My gift from Steve will be not seeing his body laying on the couch! ha! Haven't done alot with him home for the last 5 days..well..thats not exactly true..I've been going behind him doing lots of "little" clean up things. He took "relaxing" to a whole new level!haha! I must admit though..he earned his "relaxing" time after putting up with my prednisone craziness over the last 4 months. God bless his little pea pickin heart...his patience through all of that was amazing. But...with that being said...it's now time for him to get back to work..hahaha! You be sure to keep us up-dated with appointment dates for starting your treatment plans. Sure hate to see you have to travel so far to get this started, but don't like seeing nothing being done. I want you to be cared for by some smart doctors and want to see it done "soon"! You take care my dear Libra friend and enjoy your "quiet and clean" home. Keeping you and your family in my daily prayers.

    Good for you!
Great, Lisha to hear that there is quiet and clean around your house. Oh, I know all about that. For me, I don't have that yet but I know I will someday soon - definitely a lot going on in this house - all 3 kids at home (except during the week when daughter and hubby go to work). I end up being a mom when I didn't feel like doing that - telling them to please pick up things and clean kitchen, etc. Huh! We had a nice Xmas dinner - just 8 of us including hubby's step brother and his long time girlfriend and brother in law. It was touching to hear brother in law expressing his decision to give money to charities instead of giving gifts to us (he did give little gifts anyway) after what happened to my health and he started crying - how sweet of him... Speaking of that, I have sent asked family and friends if they still have room to give $ for tax purposes, to donate to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by just going into its website before Dec. 31st and one organization (I forgot which will double its amount and it hopes to hit 1 million by the 31st).
I know, Sue, by the end of the year everyone wants to relax but can't or did relax too much becuz of the holiday rush of doing stuff. Not easy!! I hope by now everyone including my hubby and myself find the balance and get to be more calm then by the New Year's day.

    Wish you all the best!!
    Hugs,
    Liz
