I had my second round on Monday and am having some weird side effects. I can barely look at a light without it feeling like my head is going to explode, the roof of my mouth hurts but no sores. And the worst one well except for her cold sensitivity is the back of my head hurts I can't even sleep on that one side. Has any of these things ever happened to anyone else. I have a call into the doc to ask what is up this is messed up. He has already lowered my doses once because of side effects.

I have similiar though maybe not quite as bad side effects. My light sensitivity is now bad enough that I can't drive into the sunlight and have trouble with driving ay night when other headlights come at me. I also get the headache though maybe not quite as bad as you are describing. I ad the pain in the head but in a different spot. It felt like I had hit the top of my head on the corner of a cabinet door. I kept feeling my head with my fingers looking for a bump as I thought that maybe I had hit my head and didn't know it. There was no bump just a really sore spot that was tender to the touch. Luckily it was on the top of my head and not where I slept on my head or I wouldn't have been able to sleep on it if it had been.

Talk to your onc and let them know. Maybe a slight decrease in your dosage would help? You are not alone with the side effects.

    head and neck pain
I have the same pain on the lower left at the back of my head and neck. I was wondering if the port had anything to do with it. It seems like it started right after I got the port put in. I have had quite a few oxy side effects, it sure is no fun!

Thank you everyone for the reply
Sorry it took me so long to say thanks, I still have headache its been alittle over 2 weeks. Went for treatment number 3 and doc postponed till next week hoping the headache will let up. No pain meds work to make it go away. Doc said it was probably the Oxy and they are taking it totally out of my treatment plan to see if it helps. I hope it does I could use a day without the headache.

    Normal
This happened to me too. My eyes got really wierd and sensitive and blurry and thought that my eyesight was decreasing. Having headaches and pain in head was common for me, especially the first few days of infusion. Cold sensitivity is a given. Please let your doctor know what you are feeling and hope you feel better soon.

    Sorry
Sorry that you are dealing with these side effects. The only issue I had that corresponds to those you are experiencing is eye sensitivity. I can only describe my eyes as feeling "weird" and I also had an increased sensitivity to light. I do wear contacts and found my issues were lessened when I wore my glasses. It did wear off after a couple of days. I hope you feel better.
