RECIPE FOR NO BAKE CHOCOLATE MACAROONS
I promised Winter Marie this recipe for no bake chocolate macaroons. Here it is:
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup cocoa
1 stick margarine/butter
2 1/2 cups quick oatmeal
1 cup flaked coconut
Mix oatmeal and coconut in large bowl, set aside. Mix first flour ingredients in medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil on low heat. Boil 3 minutes. Pour mixture over oatmeal and coconut, mix thoroughly. Drop by tablespoon onto waxed paper. Let stand until firm. Eat and enjoy.

Thanks!
Thanks Anne! I haven't seen this recipe for YEARS! I used to make these and I have no idea why I stopped, but have not had the recipe so sort of forgot about them. But I'm thinking I may have to add these to my holiday baking... the list is getting long!!
Hehehe... and I will be putting up my Jalapeno Pepper Jelly recipe and my Cheese Cocktail Cookie recipe ... but the kitchen is a disaster area because I'm making more jelly tonight. But I will be posting them
