Well the colon doctor called to tell us more chemo. Before she goes in to remove the tumor.Feeling a little down about that i was hoping with the CEA count being at 4.2 that Jorge would be good to go .hugs to all Tina
It could be they the doctor wants to shrink it a little further before surgery. The smaller it is the better. Hoping you get more information from the oncologist.
I'm sorry you're disappointed with this news. Like Pepe, I'm sure they want the tumor to shrink as much as possible to make sure that they get good margins and the best outcome when they do the surgery. Hang in there and prayers for you and Jorge
The doctor probably wants to shrink the tumor as much as possible before surgery. It increases the chances of geting it all.At least the doctor should tell you what's going on.The CEA count is pretty good, congratulations.Good luck with the chemo.
Hi Tina, one of the hardest parts of all of this is the WAIT. I get it! I am sorry it is dissapointing, I hope you're able to feel better soon. These ups and downs are horrible!
Did you say how many more treatments? ...*going back to look*.....
It's okay, really it is. The smaller the better, the idea that they entertain surgery is the biggest most wonderful thing possible, so that they want to wait to shrink those little b@st@rd tumors the better.
Keep your head up, keep going on the positive (I know you can)and look forward to the surgery date that WILL happen when it's time. Don't feel bad hun, he'll get his surgery when the time is good.
Cyber hug or two and a prayer on top of it.
