I just want you people to all know how wonderful you are! Since joining this board/site (what is the correct term please)I find myself being pulled to it constantly to read the updates. It feels like I'm in a loving, caring home where everyone has some kind of words for you, either encouraging, inspiring, funny, just a wonderful mix of people and thoughts. This is exactly where I need to be! I'm home!

    I just played the cancer card and got the scary old woman to let me buy a 27 ton log splitter. I told her she would need smaller logs for the woodstove next winter if I croaked!!!!

    Talk a about a strong motivator to beat this crap. I be splitting logs all winter. The best physical therapy there is. 16 more days and the bag is just a bad memory.

    You brought a huge smile to my face with this one. Most people use the cancer card to benefit themselves, you actually used it to help you AND the person you used it with. Pretty clever!

    We hunt starting the 13th. We might not have a good hunt this year as we have a cougar hanging around here. I saw it this spring 125 yards from the back of the house. Deer and cougars don’t mix well.

    I did the same thing with getting the log splitter
    away from my brother-in-law!

    PS I also enjoy brush hogging

    Exciting ! here in Europe the biggest cat we got is a Lynx and just a few dozens!
    Must be exciting to hear it by night !.
