How long for blood cell counts to recover after interferon treatment ends?

Hi everyone. I'm about to finish up my year of interferon. Throughout most of this year, my white blood cell count has stayed down around 2000-2500. It even stayed low during the entire month I had to take off due to an infection. (My oncologist actually laughed because I had hoped that my WBC might actually have risen during that month - it didn't, it actually DECREASED, despite being off the interferon!)
So, I'm wondering, for those of you who did your year of interferon, how long did it take your blood counts to return to "normal" levels?
Thank you!
