UPDATE: Colonoscopy completed - all good! Osmo Prep It IS....Bowels, start your engines

Anyhoo, no tumors or polyps in the colon...yeah!!!!!
Oh and for the record, that OSMO PREP was a peice of cake. No cramping, nothing. Started working right away. Slept thru the night until about 5 am. There was still some stool in the colon though, higher up. I think 2 days of liquid diet would be the better route.
............................................................................................
I just picked up the prep for my 1st Colonoscopy post DX 3/2009.
I'm hoping, as a reversed ileostomy patient and frequent visitor to the "throne" that I will be cleaned out rather quickly.
I realized that I made a gyn appt for the day AFTER my colonoscopy....damn, rotor-rootered in all the wrong places in one week
wish me luck!!!
I may provide a play-by-play since I can't go anywhere and I need to keep my mind off food

Good Luck
I hope it all works out really good for you as well. My calendar is just packed with appts as well - up off one table and hop over to another table.
Just like old used cars we are - always up on somebody's else rack:)
I went 40-hours with NO FOOD. You can do it, Peggy...mind over matter.

Just wanted to wish you the best tomorrow. Glad you are getting the reversal. Good luck and keep us informed how the surgery went and how you are feeling.

Best line of the month. On a related note, I just scheduled my once-per-3-year colonoscopy for November 1. Just finished appointments with medical oncologist and urologist (all okay).

Osmo Prep
Haven't used the Osmo Prep. For my three colonoscopies and the fourth one that I scheduled today for mid-October, it's Miralax and Dulcolax (with Gatorade) for me. I'm on the 3-year plan for colonoscopies and my last one was October of 2007. Good luck with my colonoscopy and gyn appointments.
