Today i went to my physical therapy and they are giving me new exercises to do for my arms and a charlie horse in my back that has been there for over a week now.
My therapist grabs me and pulls me into the hallway while shes explaining ...we all need a stripers pole in our house for these excerises and shes showing me how to do some of these and im just laughing my butt off at her and then of course she had me try it....striper course 101...hehe...its fun!
I just had to tell ya all about this.
Dont get me wrong it wasnt like hanging upside down or swinging down the pole or anything like that, just simple exercises and lookin sexy doin them...hehe!
Anyone else down for some striper pole exercising!

Economincally .. would an IV pole do the same
trick? It would provide you with a straight and solid alumium back drop, it's mobile and you would look good standing next to it - performing your PT stripper exercises, right?

I'm confused ... did you say stripper exercises, or PT exercises .. hehe

    Pole Dancing Class
Actually I took a pole dancing class with my daughter-in-law last summer. We had a blast. We laughed and had a good time. No, I didn't hang upside down either, but definitely did get a good workout! My husband keeps teasing me that he is going to put a pole in our bedroom for me to practice. We were looking forward to doing it again this summer...but...oh well. There's always next summer. Hugs, Jean

    ok, this made me laugh
out loud! Especially the comment about new treatment for breast cancer :-) JoJo I think your PT is quite the experience. First you have a party with everyone looking at the new "girls" and now you're learning how to move that new body of yours. Your husband's in for quite a treat, eh! Kidding aside, I'm glad your getting help for your aches. You've already been through enough.

    That's just awesome! You
That's just awesome! You know, you can buy kits for home stripper poles that also come with workout DVD's - i'd love to go to one of those workouts but I don't think there's anywhere in my town that offers that!
HEY - there's my million dollar idea - a stripper pole workout dvd/book geared toward breast cancer survivors - starring all of US!!!
    *round of hugs*

I thought of the stripper pole episode on King of Queens-that was histerical. Anyone else seen that one? Have fun with your new therapy!

    Sue,

If they did that they'd have to change the name to "Look Good, Feel MUCH Better" class. :-)
