Well, we finally heard back from Rush University. We had inquired on a study they were conducting on protecting the "hippocampus" and "limbic" areas of the brain while administering PCI. Turns out they are currently not studying this at this time. :( Probably a financial issue, funding? What's new?
One day, soon, my love and I will have to come to this decision ( to PCI or not), and when we do, we will not second guess ourselves, we will pray for the best outcome, and know that God will always be with us.
He is doing so well, and we are looking forward to celebrating his 61st birthday on Friday!
6th and final chemo will be a week from today, yeah!
