    live in phx az and it is hot here but its a dry heat they say, hot is hot to me 110 today

    Sunshine, I do my caregiving in Mobile, and you are right about hot! Gotta be out at 6 am to get anything done outside. Glad this tropical storm is taking its time getting here. Home for me is the Blue Ridge country of Virginia, near Roanoke.

    Moved and moving again
    Originally from Dallas, Texas. Moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico to retire. Moving back to Dallas as soon as we can get there to be closer to family support.

    Kilgore is a beautiful part of Texas. I bet you know what "chiggers" are and how to avoid them.

    Way up north in Michigan, Livonia (southeast) and a cottage in West Branch (mid-Michigan) to be exact.

    Like the rest of the country, this summer has been brutal. I don't ever remember it being this hot in Michign for so very long. We get a few days of 90's but this summer, it has been unending.

    I'm not the main caregiver for my son as he lives with his dad and stepmother. However I am involved in the whole process. We also are in the Dallas area. Nice post, just to sort of get a "mental" pic on where people are. I'm just imagining we're everywhere as so many may not have found "us" yet.

    I have no ideal who Earl Campbell is!!! I guess I could google him! I do know where Kilgore and Tyer Tx is. But not Earl Campbell!
