    Hi Pepe,
    First off,

    Hi Pepe,
    First off, welcome.
Second, congrats on winning the world cup. I don't know if you still live in Spain, but I'm sure were excited to win. For me the entire Cup was part of my recovery from surgery and a distraction from thinking about cancer.
I was dx right after you in July '09. Sorry to hear that the liver mets are back. I'll be starting on folfori soon as well. What are the dr.s going to radiate?
I got to go to Barcelona as a teenager. It's an incredible city. Seeing Picaso"s Guernica(sp?) up close was truly amazing.
    Take care - Roger

    Nice to meet you
    Hi, Pepe!

Very nice to meet you, although it's a lousy reason, right? Hope we've already been of help to you and will be in the future.

    *hugs*

    similar chemo
    Hi Pepe,

I am on a similar chemo 'cocktail" as you -- except I am on Xeliri + Avastin (i.e. the pill Xeloda instead of the 5FU drip). I'm finding the side effects pretty tolerable. In fact my only complaint is hand-foot syndrome, which is due to the xeloda -- so hopefully you will escape that! It is certainly much easier for me to tolerate that folfox was.

    I'm also 52. Let's be chemo buddies!
