Hi Has anyone had a metastatic inguinal lymph node? Yesterday my doctor confirmed that I my right node has metastasied caused from PPC. Will be having a CT scan on Tuesday and hopefully see an oncologist on Wednesday (both my gyn/onc and oncologist are on holidays). I had surgery in October 2008 for Primary Peritoneal and carbo/taxol treatment. I have had a few CT scans since the last being in March and everything was fine, had a CA125 in May which was 20 SO what is going on??? Until I have the scan I do not know what I have to deal with but would like to know if anyone else has had this?
Any help advice would be appreciated.
Thanks Jenny

    Hi Jenny,

I haven't had that, but just wanted to let you know that I'll be sending good thoughts your way on Tuesday (which I guess is Monday here?).

    Hugs!

    Hi Connie
I noticed a lump in my groin and went to the GP and then I had a biopsy done. Have just had a blood test (hopefully have the results this afternoon) and just about to go and have my CT scan/ Have the oncologist appointment tomorrow so will see what is going on.
CT scan in March was normal. Will let you know and thanks

    Hi Connie
    My CT scan showed

    Hi Connie
My CT scan showed an enlarged right ilian and common femoral lymph nodes. Apparently one has grown 1cm in 4 months. The oncologist I saw yesterday said we would not rush into treatment and they will look over the scans with the radiologist. Everything else was clear and so was my blood test - CA125 was till 20. I was under the impression because my CA125 was so high before surgery - just under 4000 - that this would be a good indication for me but not this time. I have my next appointment on the 26th July so will have to wait until then.
    Thanks Jenny
