Cyrogenic surgery (freezing
Cyrogenic surgery (freezing the tumor and causing the Cancer cells to die) was not an option when I had my surgery in 2002. In trying to answer this question I did a little reading and it appears that this procedure is done on smaller tumors in lieu of a laroscopic or regular nepherectomy. That being said it would appear that this group would be mostly if not all diagnosed as stage 1 and therefore nearly all suevive to a normal life span. I guess the concer will be if there is any kind of reoccurance after a number of years. If I am misinterpreting what I am reading please to not hesitate to set me right.0
