I just want to bring up the topic of humor. While this experience does have a lot of fear and uncertainty, humor my friends will help get you through it. We need to laugh at ourselves and our experiences. We do funny things, we say funny things and laughter is HEALING.

Try to see the humor my friends. It helps. It takes our mind into the positives. Positivity is crucial to beating this monster.

Good luck to all. Hope you're up to the challenge! :)

    I lost my hair during
I lost my hair during treatments. A family friend that we hadn't seen in a while went over to visit. I walked into the living room to say hi and he looked at me weird and said "oh wow you cut your hair....I guess your trying to go with a more modern look". I didn't say anything and just walked away. He then hinted to my dad that I was trying to dress like a boy. My dad then said "no Nick, she has cancer and she lost her hair".....boy he must of felt dumb. =)

    Oh man
I bet he DID feel bad LOL. I know that when my cousin and her 10 year old son came over and I wasn't wearing a scarf, you should have seen her sons expression, although he did a great job of hiding the smile :).

I think other people were more freaked out about it than I was after a while.

    Hope you are doing well!

    Humor
I don't think I could have done this without other survivors here showing me how to laugh about this stuff. Laughter gives off such good vibes it's the best part of fighting!

Keep up the smiles and the belly laughs!

    Take Care,
